I’m extremely excited to announce that the second half of 2019 will consist of us living our dream of being nomadic. We will have base locations with our families, but spend the majority of our time being in different cities. The plan is to be in one place for 2-4 weeks before moving on the next. Our travels will be global in nature, but coincide with many places we must travel to for work.
It feels extremely exciting to be able to explore the world while maintaining our jobs. I am most fulfilled and satisfied when on the move, and this feels like an incredible evolution on life’s journey. When I was younger, I vowed that I would try to take advantage of all the world has to offer, and I feel very confident that this is fulfilling that promise.
Still, logistics are difficult and planning months of consistent travel is not easy. I’ll be writing here about our trials and tribulations and how it feels to be living nomadically. Some people think we are crazy, but I feel like this quote sums it up nicely.
Long term travel is not an act of rebellion against society; it’s an act of common sense within society.
